If ever a composer was glad to be dead before his name could be confused with another musician, it’s Biber. And what better way to celebrate the Bohemian composer, than with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment in the warm ambience of The Amersham Arms. On 23 April, The Night Shift returns to crush the rules of classical music like the fragile hearts of weeping Beliebers, for a night where audiences can drink, chat and clap when they want. With a programme also featuring classical A-Listers Handel and Purcell, it’s a rare opportunity to hear some of the world’s greatest composers, played by top performers, in a relaxed pub atmosphere.
“Another brilliant idea from The OAE. If you're a Londoner, get yourself along!”
